Systems include desktop publishing control panel, professional desktop publishing software, high quality scanner, color printer, paper cutting machine, box cutting machine, etc.
A range of advanced offset presses, digital presses, and colour management tools and equipment help to automate production line.
Spacious production plant accommodates various presses and machines for printing products of different materials, sizes & thickness, and allows many other fabrication works such as polishing, coating, embossing, etc.
Complete Computerization
Our facilities are equipped with computerized machines at every stage of production, including design, proof production, publishing, manufacturing, quality checking and packing. Colour is just as important as advance printing technology, our presses are calibrated regularly to ensure the integrity of colour accuracy.
Pre-press
We employ IMPACT/ Artios Knife mold design and output system. Automatic laser knife mold equipment is used for precision tooling.
Colour Management
Wing Hung adheres to strict Colour Management System (CMS) standards. We are continuously innovating our workflow and technology to improve CMS performance.
Imaging Technology
Computer-To-Plate (CTP) technology has been adopted at Wing Hung since 2000, a total of 9 sets of CTP and Computer-To-Conventional-Plate (CTcP) equipment is in our production line, and they are the most advanced version available.
3-D Packing Design
To help in visualizing the look of packaging boxes at design stage, Esko Artios Packaging software is being used at Wing Hung for structure design of the packaging product.
Offset Printing
As of 2009, Wing Hung uses only Soy-Based inks for all offset production. Wing Hung operates 26 pieces of KBA equipment, one of the major KBA presses users in the world. The presses are high quality online varnish units, print speed up to 18,000 sheet/hour. With the aid of networked software, colour management is continually refined and thus better print quality. All offset printing at Wing Hung is based on ISO 12647-2 Printing Standard. All Jobs are verified by 3rd party ISO 12647 QC software.
Digital Printing
Wing Hung is the first company in Asia with 74KARAT digital printing press. We also equipped a fleet of 8 HP Indigo Digital Presses in our iPrint Department (6 x Indigo 5500, 2 x Indigo 7500). These digital presses offer 7 color capability as well as White Ink option, and IMS (Ink Mixing Station) for customized Spot Ink capability.
Packing Making
In addition to advanced printing presses, Wing Hung also adopted Automatic Box Making Machine, Automatic Hard Cover Making Machine, and Object 3-D Rapid ProtoTyping machine for non-paper mold enhancements to packaging products such as special DVD collection boxes, etc.
